[a different dingy hotel]

Caroline settles into her new hotel room with little fanfare. She has a nice stock of leftover Chinese takeout courtesy of her, uh... date. In fact, she's going to eat some of that delicious takeout as soon as she's taken a shower. As she fights with the water temperature and steps out of her clothes, she's amused to find a bunch of fried rice in her bra. That's what you get for eating without a shirt, she supposes. She shakes what is hopefully the last of it out into the trash can and then steps into the shower.

...Which is still too cold goddammit. Oh well.
